1. Tyvek® Solar™ W10, DuPont ™ Protective Air Cargo Cover
Tyvek® Solar™ W10 Cargo Covers provide outstanding protection to cargo when exposed to the sun during loading, transfer and unloading. This is the principal cause of temperature excursions during short-term breaks in the cold-chain.
By allowing the exchange of air and water vapour through the fabric, the covers help ensure that under-cover moisture levels do not reach damaging levels as a result of ambient temperature fluctuations.
Affordable and easy to use, Tyvek® Solar™ W10 covers also offer inherent breathability in addition to all the other mechanical and hygienic benefits of low-conductivity Tyvek® material.
2. Tyvek ® Solar ™ W20, DuPont ™ Protective Air Cargo Cover
Tyvek® Solar™ W20 Cargo Covers provide all the benefits of Tyvek®, Solar™ W10 covers but with the addition of a special performanceenhancing, low-emissivity inner coating. This combination of a highly reflective outer surface with an inward-facing layer to reduce radiation in the direction of the cargo, makes Tyvek® Solar™ W20 the standard to beat when it comes to minimizing temperature excursions during short-term breaks in the cold chain.
Metallic layers used in cargo covers are usually impermeable to gases, and this can severely limit movement of humidity into and out of the cargo. However, the lowemissivity coating on Tyvek® Solar™ W20 covers has been specially developed to maintain the breathability of Tyvek®, helping to ensure that under-cover moisture levels do not reach damaging levels as a result of ambient temperature fluctuations
3. Tyvek ® Xtreme ™ W50, DuPont ™ Protective Air Cargo Cover
The Tyvek ® Xtreme ™ W50 Cargo Covers sandwiches a low-emissivity metallic layer between a high efficiency insulation layer on the inside and a high-reflectivity, weatherproof, Tyvek ® layer on the outside to bring a cargo cover with multiple benefits.
The entire Tyvek ® Xtreme ™ W50 Cargo Covers cover structure is weatherproof yet breathable allowing damaging condensation to be evacuated in cold and humid conditions.
